How to post a deal
These steps put your special on your city's deals page, on your listing, and in the feed. You pick the kind of deal, write the offer in your own words, check a preview, and publish. To see who reads the feed and where posts show up, read how the feed works.
Your business type
Before you start
- A Polish Perfect account, signed in.
- A listing you've claimed, live on Polish Perfect. Not claimed yet? Claim your business first.
- The details of your offer: what it is, what it covers, and when it ends. You'll type these yourself.
- The right phone number on your listing. The deal's public page has a Call button that uses it.
Post your deal
- 1
Open a new post
Sign in and go to Home in your dashboard. On a computer, click "New post" at the top of the page. On a phone, tap the round blue plus button on the Home tab, at the end of the row with All, Jobs, Deals, and Referrals.
You can also start from your listing: open it from My Listings (Listings on a phone) and tap "New post" beside Your posts ("Create a post" if you have none yet). Those screens ask the same questions and also let you pick a photo for the post. The buttons there read "Preview Post" and "Post Now".
- 2
Choose Deal
Under "What do you want to post?", tap Deal. If you have more than one business, tap the right one under "Posting for" first. A post belongs to one listing.
- 3
Pick the kind of deal
The screen is called "Add details" and asks "What's the deal?". Under Deal Type, tap % Off Service, New Client Special, Package Deal, or Seasonal Promo. Then tap "Preview post".
Supply stores choose from Wholesale Pricing, % Off, Buy X Get Y, New Brand in Stock, or Clearance, and then tap a Brand, such as OPI, DND, or Other. School choices include Tuition Discount, Open House, and Enrollment Special.
- 4
Write the real offer
The Preview screen fills in a Title and a Description from what you tapped, but they only name the kind of deal. Type your actual offer into the Title, then say what it covers and when it ends in the Description. You can also tap "Write it for me with AI". It writes a new Description from your Title and anything you've typed.
- 5
Check the preview card
The card at the top of the screen shows how your post looks in the feed. Read it closely. You can't edit a post after it's published.
- 6
Publish
Tap "Post it now". You'll see "Your post is live!". Tap "See it in the feed" to go back to the feed, or "Post another" to start a new post.
What happens next
Your deal runs for 7 days, then hides on its own. It shows in the feed, on your listing, and on the public deals page for your city: nail salon deals, nail supply deals, or nail school deals. Anyone can read the public page without an account.
People who want the deal call you or come by. The deal's own page shows your business name and address, with a Call button.
Same special next week? Create a new post. It goes back into the feed as the newest one.
Something went wrong
- I see "Add your business first"
- Your account doesn't have a listing yet, and a post has to belong to one. Tap "Go to My listings", or follow how to claim your business, then come back and start again.
- The "Preview post" button stays gray
- Every question on the screen needs one answer. Tap a Deal Type. If you're a supply store, tap a Brand too.
- "Post it now" stays gray, or I get an error
- The Title and the Description both need text. The Title can be up to 100 characters. If you see "Failed to create post. Please try again.", tap "Post it now" once more. Still stuck? Email support@polishperfect.co.
- My deal is live, but it isn't on the public deals page
- Public pages only show posts from a listing that is live. If you added your business recently, its page may not be published yet. It goes live on its own, and your deal shows up with it.
- I need to change or end my deal early
- You can't edit a live post. On a computer, open your listing from My Listings, find the post under Your posts, and click the trash can. Confirm, then post again if you need to. A deleted post can't be brought back.
