When a tech runs out of a brand mid-week, or a new salon is stocking its first shelves, they open Polish Perfect and look for a nail supply store in their city, by the brand they want, or by the product. Your store is almost certainly on those pages already. This guide covers what a claimed store gets that an unclaimed one doesn't, where it shows up, how to be the one they call first, and how to put this week's special in front of every salon in your radius.
Four places, one claim
A supply store on Polish Perfect is one listing that shows up in four places. Each one does a different job, and a single free claim turns all four on.
- 01Your store's page: the address, hours, phone, products, brands, and how to shop, with a Shop Online or Get Directions button on top.
- 02The directory pages: your city's supply page, where techs and owners filter by pro pricing and shopping options, plus the category pages for what you stock.
- 03The brand pages: one page per brand per city, listing the stores there that carry it. Yours is on them for every brand you list.
- 04The feed: the signed-in page where owners and techs near you check deals, jobs, and referral offers. A claimed store posts into it free. How the feed works for stores.
The first three are public and indexed by Google, so a store that fills in its page gets found by people who have never heard of Polish Perfect. The fourth is private to accounts and local by radius, which is what makes a weekly special there land.
What your store's page shows
The page is built to answer the questions a tech asks before driving over: are you open, do you carry the brand, do you sell to the public or only to pros, can they order online instead. Here is everything on it, top to bottom.
Your store
ClaimedYour city · Open until 6pm · Pro pricing
- OPI · DND · Kiara Sky
- Hours set
- Walk-in · Shipping
- Name, address, phone, and a Claimed badge once the store is yours.
- A Shop This Store card: Shop Online when you offer online ordering or shipping and have a website, otherwise Visit Website; Get Directions to a real map link; and your phone number. Your pricing note, pro-only, open to the public, or both, sits under it.
- Quick facts: years in business, how many brands you carry, how many product categories, and your pricing note.
- Product categories, from acrylics and gel polish to e-files, lamps, pedicure supplies, and salon furniture.
- Brands we carry, as chips. Each brand on our list links to the page for that brand in your city, so your listing feeds those pages and they feed it back.
- Store hours by day, with an Open now that uses your time zone.
- Shopping options: walk-in, online ordering, in-store pickup, curbside, local delivery, nationwide shipping.
- Photos of the store: shelves, storefront, counter. Yours lead the page once you upload them.
Every one of those comes from the editor in your dashboard once you claim, and nothing you type gets written over. What claiming changes, step by step.
How techs and owners find you
Three kinds of pages send people to your listing, and the same store is ranked the same way on all of them: claimed stores first, then by how complete, fresh, and responsive the listing is.
- The city page. Every city with supply stores has one, and it carries a Shopping & Access filter: Open to the Public, Public + Pro Pricing, Pro-Only Pricing, then walk-in, online ordering, pickup, curbside, delivery, shipping. Those chips come straight from what you set on your listing, so a store that hasn't set them is invisible to anyone filtering.
- The brand pages. For each brand on our list, and each city, there is a where-to-buy page listing the stores that carry it, with state and national roll-ups above it and a brand index over all of them. A brand page for your city exists the moment one store there lists the brand. If nobody has, you would be the whole page.
- The category pages. One per product category, by city, listing the stores whose pages carry that product. A category page for a city appears once three stores there carry it.
Search on the site works the same way: someone typing a product or "wholesale" with a city is sent to supply stores. The rankings guide has the full order and the checklist for moving up it.
One claim, three things at once
Claim the store and it moves above every unclaimed store in its city, its brand pages switch on, and the feed opens for this week's special.
Posting this week's special
The directory pages are where a tech goes when they already need something. The feed is how you reach them before that. It is the page inside every owner's and tech's free account that lists what businesses near them have posted, within the radius they set, and owners there are shown deals first.
- A deal: wholesale pricing, percent off, buy one get one, a new brand in stock, or clearance, with a brand chip, live seven days. Then post the next one.
- A referral: refer a salon or refer a tech, rewarded with store credit, a percent off a first order, or your own offer, live sixty days.
- A job: sales associate, cashier, warehouse associate, or manager, live thirty days, with applications arriving in your dashboard.
One post goes to the feed, to the public supply deals page for your city, to its own page with a link you can share, and onto your listing, so people without an account see it too. Posting is free with a claimed store. Boost, from five dollars, makes a post Featured and puts it in the Sponsored spots on the public city pages, including cities you choose, and every claimed store starts with free credit toward it. The feed for stores, in full.
What it costs
Nothing on this page has a fee. The listing, the claim, the editor, the brand pages, and posting deals, referrals, and jobs are free, with no plan and no renewal. The one paid feature is Boost, which is optional and sits on top: a post or the store itself in the Sponsored spots at the top of the city page, from five dollars, with free credit to start.
What we don't do
We don't sell your customer list and we don't take a cut of orders. The only thing between you and a tech on your listing is your phone number.
The order to do it in
Claimed stores get a lift in the order for about ten weeks after claiming, so the week you claim is the week to fill the page in. Here is the sequence, most effect first.
- 01Claim the store. Search by name, answer one automated call to the store's number, type the six-digit code. Three minutes.
- 02Fix the basics the same day: phone, address, website, hours. These are the fields that lose a customer when they're wrong.
- 03Pick your product categories, list the brands you carry, and set your pricing note and shopping options. Categories and brands are the two biggest completeness items after photos, and brands switch on your brand pages.
- 04Add two or more photos of the store. Shelves and the storefront are what a tech wants to see.
- 05Write a description of a sentence or two: what you specialize in, whether you ship, who you sell to.
- 06Post this week's special. How the feed works.
- 07Then change something every month. Freshness scales everything else.
Polish Perfect also keeps directories of nail salons and nail schools, and the salons on the first one are the owners who read your deals.
