A nail school's marketing problem is reach to the two groups that matter: people deciding whether to enroll, and salons deciding where to hire from. The feed inside Polish Perfect puts both in one place, filtered by distance from your school. This is who's in it, what a school can post, and how to run it as a calendar instead of a campaign.
Who is reading
- Working nail techs, signed in to look for jobs, who see your free workshop or tuition special in the same scroll. Many are licensed and looking for continuing education or a second specialty.
- Salon owners, for whom the feed moves deals and referral offers up. A salon partnership or student referral post is built to land in front of them.
- Other schools and supply stores, who post into the same feed and see yours.
Everyone in the feed has an account, and most have a claimed business or a profile, so you're talking to the trade, not the public. The public side is separate: every post also goes on the city page for school deals, referrals, or jobs, which Google indexes, and on your listing.

Three kinds of post, built from chips
- 01A deal: tuition discount, free workshop, open house, or enrollment special. Live for seven days.
- 02A referral offer: student referral with a reward of one hundred, two hundred, five hundred dollars, or your own number; instructor referral; or salon partnership. Live for sixty days.
- 03A job: instructor, admissions, or front desk, salary or hourly, with the programs the role covers. Live for thirty days.
Each is a few taps plus a title and description, with a draft written for you if you want one. Posts can't be edited once live; delete and repost instead, and the new one goes to the top as the newest.
Why a school's deal lasts seven days
An open house has a date. A seven-day post goes up the week before, sits near the top while it's fresh, and expires after the event instead of advertising a date that's passed. Post the next one the following week.
The open house playbook
- 01Seven days out: post the open house as a deal with the date in the title. It's in the feed, on the city page, and on your listing within the minute.
- 02Same day: post a free workshop for licensed techs if you run one. Working techs are the biggest group in the feed.
- 03Day of: share the post link from the card. The Share button copies it.
- 04After: delete the post so nobody turns up to a past date, and queue the next one.
Fresh posts get a lift in the Nearest sort for their first day and wear a New badge for two, so a Monday post is seen by more people than a Friday one.
Salon partnerships and placing graduates
A salon partnership post is a referral offer, live sixty days, and it's the kind of post the feed shows owners first. Say what you offer: externship hours, a graduate pipeline, a referral reward for the salon that hires one. Owners within their radius see it under Referrals, and everyone sees it on the public referrals page.
Owners also post jobs into the same feed. Tap Jobs, set 25 miles, and you have a live list of salons hiring that your graduates can apply to today with three to five photos of their work. The jobs page explains Easy Apply the way you'd explain it to a class.
Your next cohort is scrolling the feed tonight
Free account, claim the school, post the open house. It's in the feed, on the city page, and on your listing the same minute.
Featured posts
A post with a Featured badge is one with a Boost budget behind it, from five dollars, and every claimed school starts with free credit toward it. Featured posts sit higher in the Nearest sort and take the Sponsored spots on the public city pages, including cities you choose. It's optional, and nobody's Featured post pushes your organic one out of the feed.
For a school with an enrollment deadline, a Featured open house post in the two weeks before is the cheapest reach you'll buy.
Your listing comes first
Posting needs a claimed, published listing. Most schools are already in the nail school directory; search your name on the claim page and verify with a short automated call to the number on the listing. Not there yet? Add it from your account; it's public after a quick check.
A claimed listing is also where your posts send people. Hours, programs, photos, and a phone number that's right are what make the open house post land.
Run it as a calendar
- Weekly: one deal post, on Monday, for whatever's that week: a workshop, an open house, an enrollment window.
- Every two months: refresh the salon partnership and student referral posts as they expire.
- Whenever a role opens: the instructor or admissions job, thirty days, reposted if it's still open.
- Before a deadline: Featured on the one post that matters.
All of it starts with a free account and a claimed listing, which together take one evening.
