DMCA & Copyright Policy

Polish Perfect respects the intellectual property of others and responds to valid notices of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). If you believe content on polishperfect.co infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.

Filing a takedown notice

To be effective under the DMCA, your written notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or enough detail for us to locate it on Polish Perfect.
  4. Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Send your complete notice to our designated copyright agent by email at dmca@polishperfect.co. Our agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office; you can also find our current contact details in the DMCA Designated Agent Directory.

Requesting removal of a photo

If your request concerns a specific photo on a business listing, the fastest path is our photo removal form, which routes copyright, privacy, and other image concerns directly to our review team.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send our agent a written counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which Polish Perfect may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, Polish Perfect will disable or terminate the accounts and listings of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether the material is protected by copyright law, consider consulting an attorney before submitting a notice.
