The feed is where every salon, supply store, and nail school near you posts, and it's built so a tech sees jobs first. Here's what's in it, how it sorts, how to apply from it in two minutes, and what else in there is worth your time.
Open chairs, with the pay on them
Tap Jobs and the feed shows every salon post within your radius: the title, the salon, the city, how many techs have looked, and how old it is. A post under two days old wears a New badge. Open one and the owner's chips are on it: full or part time, 60/40, 70/30, booth rental, or hourly plus tips with a range, and the services the chair does.
Jobs expire after thirty days, so nothing in the list is stale. If a salon is still hiring, the owner posts again and it comes back to the top as new.

Easy Apply: photos, not a resume
- 01Tap Easy Apply on the post.
- 02Pick three to five photos of your own work. Phone photos are fine; clean sets matter more than lighting.
- 03Write a note, ten to a thousand characters: what you do, when you can start, how to reach you.
- 04Send. It lands in the owner's inbox with a notification, and the link to your profile goes with it if you've made one.
One application per post, so send your best five photos, not your last five.
Make the profile first
A profile on polishperfect.co is where an owner goes after they open your application: your photos, your services, your city. It takes ten minutes, it's free, and it's the same page you'd send a salon in any city.
The next open chair is already posted
Free account, pick your city, and the jobs near you are the first thing on the screen.
How the feed sorts for a tech
Newest is pure time order. Nearest blends how recent a post is with how far away the salon is, leaning a little toward distance, and anything posted in the last day gets a lift. The feed knows you're a tech: in Nearest, jobs score one and a half times higher for you and deals a little lower, so an open chair always beats a gel sale. Switch to Newest and everything is in pure time order.
The radius starts on Any distance, so your first scroll is the freshest posts everywhere. Set it to 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 miles and the feed keeps it. Distance is measured from the center of your city, so set it to what you'd actually drive.
Deals worth opening
- Supply stores: wholesale pricing, percent off, buy one get one, clearance, and new brand in stock, tagged with the brand when it's OPI, CND, Young Nails, Gelish, Kiara Sky, DND, SNS, or Valentino. Deals run seven days, so the Deals chip is this week's specials near you.
- Nail schools: free workshops, open houses, tuition discounts, enrollment specials. The free workshop posts are continuing education you'd otherwise hear about too late.
- Salons: a percent off a service or a new-client special. Useful if you're the client, and a read on what the salon down the street charges.
Deals are held to about a third of the feed, so they never bury the jobs.
Referral rewards, two ways to read them
A salon posting Refer a Tech with a fifty-dollar reward is paying for introductions. If you know someone, that's fifty dollars. If you are someone, it's a salon that's hiring and hasn't written the job post yet; the Learn More button on the card goes to the salon.
Schools post student referrals, instructor referrals, and salon partnerships. Supply stores post store credit or a percent off a first order for referring a salon or a tech. Referral offers run sixty days, so they're the slowest-moving part of the feed and the easiest to come back to.
Save, share, search, and the weekly alert
Every post has a Save button so you can come back to it, and a Share button that copies the link. The keyword search in the top bar runs across the whole feed: a service, a brand, a salon name.
If you'd rather be told: the weekly job alert goes out every Thursday with the newest posts in your city, up to three. It's email only, no account needed, and it's the same posts the feed shows. The feed is where you see all of them, any day, and apply.
Before you apply: a two-minute check
- 01Sign up free and pick your city.
- 02Set the radius to what you'd actually drive.
- 03Tap Jobs, sort Nearest, open the top three.
- 04Keep your five best photos in one album on your phone.
- 05Apply to the one with the pay you want. One application per post, so make it the right one.
The jobs page has more on what owners look for in an application, and the public jobs by city pages show you what's open before you sign up.
